Application Architect or Designer-Data Migration project

Role: Application Architect or Designer
Experience: 5-7 Years
CTC: 18-20LPA Max
Notice Period: Immediate to 20 days
Location: Pan India(Tech M location)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Identify and document the overall scope for the Data Migration project including:
Impacted functional areas
Responsible operational people within those functional areas
Impacted processes and workflows
Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.

What data needs to be migrated and why
What data is optional for migration and why
What data does not need to be migrated and why
Understand (deep dive) the constraints and boundary conditions by engaging with respective functional teams

BAU processes and business rules e.g. bill cycles, areas that must not be impacted, areas that will be impacted but mitigation processes are in place, areas where mitigated processes not in place and hence alternate plans must be created

Ensure proper justification for all migration related decisions with alignment within functional areas. Highlight areas on non-alignment (with an unbiased independent view) to management for decision making.

Architect and implement end-to-end plans for loading of data into Comarch BSS & Hansen SOM in discussion with Comarch and Hansen, as well as Customer stakeholders..

After the planning exercise is over (aligned and approved), and actual migration process begins, ensure that the agreed migration plan is being followed by continuously managing the project and engaging with stakeholders. Responsible for the project from inception until completion (architecting each phase, ensuring all testing, dry runs, actual migration). Be the overall responsible for technical accuracy and quality.
